    Louis Robert Boyer (Creole) according to his marriage certificate was Born in Trinidad 1844. His father had the same name and his mother was Mary Rine Dardaine. He had French accent. He came to Australia and set up a Ballroom dancing & etiquette school. He married my great grandmother Salome Donehue. They had a son Edwin Robert Boyer. We have no official record of his death. Old stories were he went back to Canada etc.

The population in the area was sparse at the time, though, so the flood didn't have a lot of economic impact.
