  • Introduction

Instead of somewhere Nanny, now you and Grandad are everywhere. [04.02.11] Mrs. Louise Narsai passed away in the early morning of Good Friday in Mount Grant Hospital, Hawthorne, Nevada. She was born unto Mr. Max and Frida Lindinger in Hamburg, Germany on Wednesday, April 6, 1921. From here on in I will refer to the beloved as "Nanny". Many knew of her as the co-owner of the Hawthorne Motel and called her Lisa. She had made many a friendship. Friendships which endured time and circumstance with some truly blossoming as her health began to slip To all of you, "Nanny" would want me to tell you on her behalf, with her cute little German accent, "Thank You Darlin' ". If you're smiling now then you must have heard her. Both Nanny and Granddad felt blessed by Hawthorne, which spoke to the fact of why they loved Hawthorne so. ...and although today we have one less "Thank You Darlin' " to be heard, little doubt remains that her memory is enough to prompt our smiles. Nanny: You are going to be remembered for a lifetime by your "Big Boy" and by the many who share such sentiments. Nevertheless, Granddad is smiles again and I believe that you are too.
