Ray Knapp
Out of a family of 6 brothers and 1 sister, Loy was the oldest one living at home during my growing years. He was the most intelligent of the family having an IQ in the genius level - whenever a question arose, we would always say, ask Loy. Actually to family, it was, ask "Jiggs," his nick - name since childhood. He was never married, though he lived 12 years or so with Millie, a co-worker from Motorola...until her death of a heart attack about 1980.
He was always a gentleman. People liked him. However, he was dogmatic about getting things right. As one of Grandin's Aldermen, he voted against a couple of proposed town ordinances just because they were not written correctly.
