    Luigi went to a school on Plainfield Pike in Johnston, he made it up to the 6th or 7th grade at which time he left school to help out on the 100 acre farm his father had there on Plainfield Pike.
  • Religious Beliefs

    Luigi did believe that there is a God. He believed that Jesus Christ was Gods son.
  • Professional Career

    Luigi worked on his family’s farm. He also inherited the original family home, where all the children were born and raised in. All of the brothers were allotted a piece of land that their father left to them. Because they carried the Caparrelli name the boys inherited the family farm. Only one of the sisters had a corner lot. I don’t know why but I do know she lived there till she passed away. Their mother Antonia and father Costanzo Caparrelli had 24 live birthed children. They were the second largest family in the United States at that time.

In 1915, in the year that Luigi Caparrelli was born, the Superior Court in Fulton County Georgia accepted the charter for the establishment of the new Ku Klux Klan, succeeding the Klan that flourished in the South in the late 1800's. This iteration of the Klan adopted white clothing and used many of the code words from the first Klan, adding cross burnings and mass marches in an attempt to intimidate others.

In 1920, at the age of merely 5 years old, Luigi was alive when in September, a bomb exploded in the J.P. Morgan bank building in New York City, killing 30 people immediately - 8 later died due to their injuries - and injuring another 200. Killing more people than the 1910 bombing of the LA Times (the deadliest terrorist act up until then), no one took responsibility and the perpetrators were never found. Italian anarchists were suspected of the bombing.
