Luis Deseado Peugnet, Sr. 1869 - 1943

Luis Deseado Peugnet Sr. was born on August 25, 1869 to Ernest Hyacinthe Peugnet and Ella Louise (Thompson) Peugnet, and had a sister Marie Therese Von Wedigger. He married Maria Luisa (Vivas) Peugnet, and had children Ernesto Jacinto "Ernest" Peugnet, Ella Louise (Thompson) Peugnet, Luis Deseado Peugnet, Jr., and Marie Peugnet. Luis Peugnet died at age 74 years old in 1943.

In May, she and Susan B. Anthony founded the National Woman Suffrage Association (NWSA).
