  • Introduction

Luke was a very intelligent, well educated man and had alot of humor and enjoyed working for his tribe. He cared alot about his children and the Menominee people. This was one of the thing's he made priority other than his children and family.Luke enjoyed fishing, golfing, hunting and hanging out with his friends.Luke was also known for a story teller and his famous jokes. He was a very humerous person. There was never a dull moment with Luke around.Everyone who knew him enjoyed his company and his intellgant way of helping you find your way onto the right path and his smart advice. My father Luke is missed dearly by me and his other children and family. My father has taught me alot of great things and the importance of loving and being there for the family no matter what.He has told me the creator puts u on this earth for a purpose and when that is full-filled he will decide when its your time to go.Ive got alot of great memories of my father and his legacy of what he did for his family and the Menominee people will live on forever.I am very proud to have had such a father in my life! I miss his smile, big hugs and love .And the jokes and movie nights with him most.He has shown me alot can be accomplished if you strive for your dreams. As he stopped at nothing to be the person he was and at what he worked hard to achieve in his life time when he was here.My father was a great man and will be forever my hero even though he is not here physically..his spirit lives on.I like to think through alot through me.I am often reminded of how much I look and act just like him.I smile everytime because thats something I cherish everyday of my life.I was the baby of the children.Yes,he did spoil the heck outta me.What I would do to have one last dance, hug and advice on to where I should carry on with myself. One thing I remember is when I was old enough to do so he showed me how to shoot a gun.Boy did I fly and of coarse my father was there to catch me.My best memories of my father is living on the river in a big house and the big bay windows that showed Big Eddy Falls right across the way.I loved sitting next to him and watching the river and his story telling while we watched the rageing falls. He was very over protective of me.He was my hero and the best father a little girl could ever ask for.I will miss him dearly everyday I go on living my life with-out him.I loved him alot and still love my daddy with all my heart. No man can ever replace a dedicated loving fathers love for his child.Certainly not mine.My father will be missed dearly by me,until the day we meet again I will have nothing but good memories of him.I love You dad! Love, Laci Lyn Beauprey
