Luther C. Geiger was valedictorian in his high school, Oklahoma state; Oklahoma State University graduate, French German American heritage; drafted as an airplane mechanic, age 18-20 years old, WWII, completing 65 missions, 15 exceeding required 50 number; "paper work error" reported by govt in the fiercest battles of D-Day and Battle of the Bulge; an outstanding gunner on Havoc A 20 flight, Pilot Anderson, USA citizens.
Soil Scientist, Agronomist, and inventor of science model, Soil Conservation Service, Amarillo, Tx, stolen by African American Soil Scientist, Houston, Tx, who received 5,000 dollars when salaries were 18,000 dollars; an expert soil surveyer in W. Tx, expert in desert and interior rain forest. USAID official diplomat, Liberia, West Africa trainer: Consultant to Texas A & M University, Nairobi, Kenya, East Africa; member of Bell Fine Arts, acc. oil and water colorist artist; conservationist: Devoted loyal member of Gideon International as treasurer, & clergy on occasion, a gentleman's organization: Married to Mrs. Lena F. Geiger, hometown sweetheart for 45 years.
Their line produced 4 national male merit scholars, one lawyer, JR Geiger, NY; national merit scholars, three grandsons: Two Microbiology science majors, graduate & one about to graduate who inherited GM's love for Microbiology, Mrs. Lena F. Geiger, passed 5/23/2010.
Third grandson of Mr. & Mrs. L. C. Geiger, Vice president, Atmos Co, avid tennis players & family of golfers. Mr. Luther C. Geiger was devoted to livestock and small kingdom preservation of life; guitarist in college band, Oklahoma state. A dream to have such a kind and wonderful father, & role model for me, Barbara L.Geiger, pianist. I wrote a song called, Do You Remember, in memory of beloved parent's farm; positive memories of late father.
The song, Do You Remember played on the radio. I notified NY lawyer to retrieve royalties stolen by two universities, Texas A & M University, WTA&M University. He was such an outstanding technical writer and editor for manuscripts of Washington DC, obvious his brilliance. Upon his death of a brain anurysm, 1994, Tx A & M University illegally, and unethically, his employer, published textbooks without his knowledge of prior collaboration; & today I request immediate copywrite royalties. Books sold on Amazon of soil studies. And hope my goal to have an acreage of irises & day lilies. His home was illegally air bombed, 2004, again internal, Christmas 2005, by unsupervised Ft. Hood Army Base, the worst president in the USA, GW Bush, yet to be indicted in Crimes Against Humanity and death penalty catering to cattle and real estate rustler neighbors by Tx. Rangers, UN, WH.
My late father discussed an interesting evening one Friday in the military of WWII and gentleman soldiers had searched quite a period of time for his barracks. Nine soldiers who practised Judism needed one more to total ten; searched for Mr. Luther C. Geiger! They completed a service under a tree and the story is that they hugged one another's soldiers and profusely 'Thanked'
