Ayvaz Görken was born on July 1, 1845 to SELMAN AKKIZ and TAMAM AKKIZ, and had a sister SAFİNAZ AKKIZ. He married KADRİYE - in 1916, and they were married until Kızhanım's death in 1930. They had children Muhammed Akkiz, KURBAN AKKIZ, and YAŞAR AKKIZ. He married BERİVAN AKKIZ in 1931, and they were married until Ayvaz's death on June 8, 1941. They had children Zülfiye (Akkiz) Kartal, KADRİ AKKIZ, and REMZİ AKKIZ.
