Met my Grandfather as he was traveling as a preacher, They found a common ground and stood against what others said couldn't be done, Went trough a Depression, raised 13 children and a farm that grew. There is a road named after the family, "Corpier Road" It crosses all the land my grandfather ought then sold to neighbors and friends as well as the family that wanted to sty around. I can remember looking up at the night and being able to see the Milky Way, to see the shooting stars and all the stars. I wish I had never left, I remember talking with my grandmother when I was about 12. Such a soft and gentle, understanding voice. Had a chill hearing her voice in my mind saying "Act up and I'll whip you a** Boy Just like my OWN!" I do remember her biskets on early summer mornings when I was 3, She would make sure I had two, one for me and one for the dogs.as I went out to play in the gardens, Maybe pet a deer or bunny. When I came in we would sit and listen to the radio and sing hymns, She taught me how to learn to love and never judge.
