Manuel Jacintho Barboza 1896 - 1979

Manuel Jacintho Barboza of Newport, Newport County, RI was born on October 17, 1896 at Arrifes in Ponta Delgada, São Miguel County, Azores Portugal to Joao Jacintho Barboza and Maria Augusta Ferreira. Manuel was baptized on November 16, 1896 at Nossa Senhora de Saude in Arrifes, Ponta Delgada County, Sao Miguel Azores, Portugal. He married Mary DeMattos, and had children Arnold Barboza, Ruth Barboza, and Norma Barboza. Manuel Barboza died at age 83 years old in October 1979 in Newport, Newport County, Rhode Island United States, and was buried at St Columba's Cemetery in Middletown.
