Margaret Evelyn (Dealy) Lissenden of Footscray, City of Maribyrnong County, VIC Australia was born in 1903 in Mooroopna, Greater Shepparton City County to Isabella Florence (Hueston) Dealy and William Dealy. She had siblings Charles James Dealy, Sarah Jane Dealy, William Edgar Dealy, Maria Edna Dealy, Rupert John Dealy, and Amelia Annie Dealy. Margaret Lissenden married Joseph Lissenden in 1930, and died at age 34 years old in 1937 in Footscray, City of Maribyrnong County.

In 1903, in the year that Margaret Evelyn Dealy was born, the Ford Motor Company was incorporated in June after Henry Ford left another car company he founded in 1901 (which became the Cadillac Motor Company). In 1916, at the age of just 13 years old, Margaret was alive when suffragette Jeannette Pickering Rankin became the first woman elected to the House of Representatives as a Representative at large from Montana. She was the first woman to hold an elected Federal office. Holding the office for two years, she ran again in 1940 and served another two year term. Montana had granted women unrestricted voting rights in 1914, 6 years before women got the vote nationally.
