She married William Isaac Mottershead in 1891, and had children Daniel Mottershead, Joseph Lowe Mottershead, Dorothy Gwen Mottershead, William Mark Mottershead, Freda Lillian Motherhead, Leonard Raymond Mottershead, Keith Trevor Mottershead, and Thomas Leslie Mottershead. Margaret Mottershead died at age 68 years old in 1940 in Hburn.
