Margaret Teresa Blandy's life began in 1890 when she was born to Mary Emma Banks (1858-1934) and Zephania Willian Blandy (1856-1922). She had siblings Catherine Hannah Blandy (1881-1935), Richard Henry Blandy (1883-1936), Mary Emma Bland (1885-1967), Sarah Ann Blandy (1887-1965), and Alice Norman lle Blandy (1893-1980). Her childhood was spent in Yea, Victoria, Australia, where she grew up in a loving family. As she entered adulthood, Margaret Teresa faced the tragedy of losing her father in 1922 when he passed away at the age of 66. Despite the loss, she continued to live her life and care for her mother Mary Emma, who remained by her side until her own passing in 1934 at the age of 76. At the age of 45, Margaret Teresa found love and married Hector Ogilvie Porter (1885-1952) in Victoria, Australia. They spent 17 happy years together before Hector passed away in 1952 at the age of 67. Margaret Teresa's life came to an end in August 1956 when she passed away in Heidelberg, Victoria, Australia at the age of 66.
