MARIE HOFFMANN WAS BORN IN LUXEMBOURG. She had a brother, called Emile HOFFMANN. Marie Hoffmann was my wife's grandmother, Marie-Thérèse LEON. She died 08.11.89, the day before the wall of Berlin came down. On the beginning Marie Hoffmann was married to Nicolas LEON. Aloyse LEON was their son, my wife's father and my father in law. Unfortunately, I never knew him, because my parents in law were divorced. Marie Hoffmann left Luxembourg and went to the Netherlands just before the Second World War. There she opened her own business (Indian and French cuisine) and lived until she died in Leiden, Klocksteeg 19,. After divorcing Nicolas LEON; she married Mr. Lezwijn. The urn of our grandmother is in our family grave on the cimetery of Frisange (Luxembourg).
