Marilyn Juanita (Wilson Wooden) Waldron was born on February 14, 1963 in Fort Smith, Sebastian County, Arkansas United States. She married Jay William Wooden in 1981 in Van Buren, Crawford County and they later divorced in 1987 in Van Buren. They had a child Jayme Michael Wooden. She would also marry Daniel Lee Waldron in 1991 in Murfreesboro, Rutherford County, Tennessee, and they were married until Marilyn's death on June 29, 2005 in Murfreesboro.

    Marilyn ''PeeWee'' Wilson Waldron,age 42,of Murfreesboro,passed away Wednesday,June 29,2005 at Alive Hospice in Nashville. A native of Ft. Smith,AR, she had lived in Murfreesboro for a short time. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Waldron is survived by her father,Larry Wilson,mother Kay Wilson and step-mother Rita Wilson all of Ft. Smith,Arkansas;husband Dan Waldron of Murfreesboro;son Jayme Wooden of Ft. Smith AR;step-daughters Tammy Waldron and Tina Clark both of Akron,Ohio;brothers Steve Wilson of Ft. Smith,AR,Mike Wilson of Conway,AR and a step-brother John Mankin of Ft. Smith,AR. A memorial service was held Friday,July 1,2005 at 7:30 P.M. at Jennings and Ayers Chapel in Murfreesboro,TN. Family will receive friends at the Lewis Funeral Chapel in Ft. Smith,AR from 5:30 to 7:00 P.M. Sunday, July 3,2005. A graveside service will be 9:00 A.M. Tuesday,July 5,2005 at the Roselawn Cemetery in Ft. Smith AR. In lieu of flowers,memorials may be made to Alive Hospice of Nashville,1718 Patterson St. Nashville,TN 37203.

In 1975, Marilyn was just 12 years old when on September 5th, Lynette "Squeaky" Fromme tried to assassinate President Ford in Sacramento, California. She failed when her gun wouldn't fire. President Ford escaped a second assassination attempt 17 days later on September 22 when Sarah Jane Moore tried to shoot him in San Francisco. A bystander saw her raise her arm, grabbed it, and the shot went wild.
