On October 31, 1952 Marion Harms was united in marriage with Harold Bruesehoff at Trinity Lutheran Church in Carver, MN. Together they operated their dairy farm of registered Holsteins. In 1975 Harold won an award for maintaining a high herd average for three years. They lived on their farm in Benton Township, rural Cologne, MN from 1959 to 1989. In 1980 the cattle was sold and the farm was sold in 1988. Marion's health was failing. In March 1989, they moved to Cologne where he built a new home. Harold enjoyed grooming his yard with his John Deere tractor and trimming shrubs around the house, as he cared for Marion who had a rare and incurable disease that claimed her life on August 7, 1994 (age 62).ADVERTISEMENT BYLooking for more information?
