Marion Leroy Kelly was born on February 26, 1920 in Sebring, FL. Mr. Kelly was the youngest of six. He was raised in Tampa, FL with three sisters, Ethel, Beatrice and Thelma, and two brothers, John and Boston. He met Nadine Humphrey in Los Angeles, CA at a gospel meeting of the church of Christ and they were married on May 25, 1945. To this union were born Carolyn Elaine, Raymond, James Leroy, Janette Louise and Kathleen Vivian Kelly. Mr. Kelly worked for the Metropolitan Transit Authority in New York City and raised his family in St. Albans, NY. Mr. and Mrs. Kelly separated around 1968 and divorced around 1978. They remained civil to each other for the sake of their children. Mr. Kelly died on May 7, 2004 at the age of 84 years. Raymond preceded him in death at the age of three weeks old, dying from pneumonia.ADVERTISEMENT BYLooking for more information?
