Marion was born to Maud Pierce Francis and John Celestine Francis, in New Orleans, La. She married Gabril Deer Neuburger in 1952. Together they had two sons, the late William Gabriel (Billy) Neuburger b.1953 of Houston, TX. and Noel Neuburger b.1954 of Sacramento, Ca. She also had a daughter, Linda Francis Burt Lipscomb b.1946 of Georgetown, Tx. during a previous marriage. She was the sister of the late Gloria Gex, the late Rose Welsch, and the late Modesta Phillips.
