She married Melvin Vaughn, and they had children Jamie Lynn Vaughn, Melvin Lee Vaughn, Marvin Vaughn, and Denise Vaughn. Marjorie Vaughn died at age 58 years old on August 12, 2009 at Vaughn Residence 138 Frontier Dr, in Smyrna, and was buried in January 2012 at Cremated and her ashes were spread with Melvins @ Melvin's Spot Old Nashville Highway, in Smyrna.
