She was born on September 7, 1940 in St. John, North Carolina, to Harold and Alma Carlotta (nee Ogburn) Patterson. Wife of the late Charles. Dear mother of Amy DeVoll, Kurt (Tina) Westergaard, Paul (Amanda) Westergaard and the late Erik Westergaard. Adoring grandmother of Christopher, Adam, Ryan, Gabrielle, Hudson, Hazel and Gideon. Cherished sister of Sarah (the late Tobias) Castro and Vada (Al Candrill) Patterson. Marjorie graduated from Hood College in Maryland before obtaining her Nursing degree from Columbia College in 1963. She was a certified Graphoanalyst and published several editions of The Directory of Handwriting Analysts. For many years she was Document Examiner and appeared in court as an expert witness. After retiring from Graphology, she returned to Nursing and finished her career as a Visiting Nurse in Lakewood, OH.
