Mark Akers of Australia was born in 1867 to Joseph Akers and Mary Ann (Spencer) Akers. He had siblings George Akers, Mark Akers, Frederick Akers, Mary Jane Akers, Rose Akers, William Tombs Akers, Sophia Akers, Frederick Akers, Mary Jane Akers, Alf Akers, Emma Eliza Akers, and Zachariah Akers. Mark Akers died at age 5 years old in 1872.
