Mark Joseph Padgett was born in 1878 to Martha (Turner) Padgett and George Padgett, and had siblings Louisa Curson (Padgett) Hearn, James Arthur Padgett, William Padgett, Samuel George Padgett., and Isaac Padgett. He married Elizabeth Padgett, and had a child Martha Jean Padgett. Mark Padgett died at age 96 years old in 1974 in Ararat, Ararat Rural City County, VIC Australia, and was buried at Mount Cole Cemetery in Mount Cole.
