    Marsh was a Marine veteran. He was stationed in Guam 🇬🇺. During his time there, he met up with Maria Garrido Cruz and had two children, Juan Cruz Van Meter and Gladys Cruz Van Meter. Upon his departure back to the U.S., Marsh promised his family to bring them back to the U.S. He never lived up to his promise to this very day.
