He was top quality of all important measures of a man. He could do anything useful and helpful. Rare blend of good looks and swift vigor. Wise and solid. Strong, honest, humble. Music lived in him.
I spent my favorite times being a son to him. I'm going to admit that is not really specific but I don't know what else to call it. The world was safe and made sense with him around. Sorry it ended. My safe world could not ever be okay again with him gone. Paid his life for me to be able to carry on. Nothing else could hurt me as much as losing my dear Dad. The pride and joy I felt when my dad was compared with other dads. I remember what a real dad was supposed to be. He was it.
