James Andrew Talley, son of William B. Talley and Sarah Ann Smith Talley, was born May 5, 1835. He died January 5, 1899 and is buried at Williams Cemetery, near Lone Star, Douglas Co., KS. James married Martha Ellen Smith Talley in 1854 in Sullivan Co., TN. Martha is the daughter of Daniel Smith and Anna 'Annie' Musselwhite. Martha was born October 4, 1837 in Sullivan Co., TN and she died March 17, 1923. She is also buried at Williams Cemetery, Douglas Co., KS.
