Martha Emma (Thistlethwaite) Groube of Hawthorn, City of Boroondara County, VIC Australia was born in 1857 in Emerald Hill to John Thistlethwaite and Hannah Hurren Thistlethwaite. She had siblings John Forster Davison Thistlethwaite and Alice Eleanor (Thistlethwaite) Bower. She married Harry Boulders Groube in 1876, and had children Amy Florence Groube, Mabel Grace Groube, Lewis Montague Groube, Elsie Victorine Groube, Allan Horatio Groube, Thomas Underwood Groube, and Thomas Underwood Groube. Martha Groube died at age 73 years old in 1930 in Hawthorn.
