I remember My Grandma who was a VERY strong woman, even back then! She took no guff! I always wanted to stay at her house at 416 Etna Street, Brooklyn, NY. But, as soon as I got there, I cried that I wanted to go home! My Grandpa, Rob, would take me! She was so good! When i was about 10, she started taking me to Steeplechase in Coney Island, Brooklyn, New York. Just us two! That was such a wonderful time in my life! Then, she had to include my little brother, John! and THEN I could take 2 friends, and John could take 2 friends! We had such a great time! Just before, I got too old to go (who would've thought!!!) I FINALLY went on the horse ride! I was so scared of them, but I did it!!!! Grandma used to put money in my pockets when no one (?) was looking! She NEVER had a bad word for anyone, (except maybe my grandpa! Ha! Ha!) She lived across the street from her sister, My Aunt Mae. They used to pull jokes on me with the telephone, and I thought my Grandma was seeing "Jake the plumber!!!!" But, it was my Aunt Mae! AWWWW!!!!! THE WONDERFUL MEMORIES!!!!!!! I MISS YOU NAN!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOMORROW!!!!!!
