Martin Howard Buris of Brownwood, Brown County, Texas United States was born on September 10, 1838 to Reuben Burrus and Mary Ann (Johnson) Burrus. He had siblings John R Burrus, William Burrus, David Burrus, and Swaney Middleton Burrus. He was in a relationship with Sarah Elizabeth (Trimble) Buris, and had a child Luther Bell Buris. Martin Buris died at age 84 years old on November 16, 1922 in Brownwood, and was buried in November 1922 at Greenleaf Cemetery 2615 US-377, in Brownwood.
