Martin arrived in the USA in 1902 at Ellis Island. He traveled to Green Bay WI to stay with an aunt. He married Amelia Swenson. They had 3 daughters and lived in Minneapolis MN. They moved to Sheridan where they both resided until their passing. They are my great grandparents. He passed away shortly after I was born so I never got to know him. My mother has told me that both of them were real characters that loved to tease and have fun.
