Marvin Allen Morris Sr. was born on March 5, 1953 in DuBois, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania United States to Loretta Alberta Morris and Louis Laverne Morris, and had siblings Susan Marie Roberts and Richard Anthony Morris. He married Marcia Marie Morris in 1975 in Ridgway, Elk County and they later divorced in 2005 in Ridgway. He had children Marvin Allen Morris Jr., Shawn David Morris, and Allan Phillip Morris. Marvin Morris died at age 63 years old on July 29, 2016 in DuBois, Clearfield County, and was buried on August 2, 2016 in DuBois.

He was released in 1962 after 1 year, 9 months and 10 days in prison.
