    Mary was from Cornish mining stock, a lot of Cornishmen came out to Clunes VIc Australia . Her father was James Jones and mother was Mary Hammill. Mary had 11 siblings but only 4 made it to adulthood one brother Samuel John (Jack) 1878-1918 dying from wounds in WW1. Not sure why Mary came WA but she met a Prussian/Kiwi called Ernest Victor George Hahn( gold miner, carpenter and first aid officer to the gold mines in Kalgoorlie and had 2 children. Olive Pearl Hahn 1908-1990 and Victor James Hahn 1904-1989

    Died from TB after affect of Typhoid fever at only 37, left a 6 yr old daughter Olive Pearl Hahn and a 10 year old son Victor James Hahn. Grave 601 in Methodist section of Kalgoorlie- Boulder Cemetery Western Australia. Shares a grave with her father James Jones 1846-1920 (came out we think for the gold mining in 1901) and brother James Jones 1872-1912 also died from Typhoid fever.
