Of the family Mary was the most decent one. When Mary's second sister got pregnant in 1970 at the age of 15, the mother sold their home from Black Mountain Road in then Del Mar, California and moved to Solana Beach to buy a home. The sister married the father of her son, Todd and her mother married Todd's father, Alfred Lester Hogan, whose wife had recently died of cancer. So Todd and his 15 year old bride moved to Jean Carnohan's house and Jean moved in with Alfred Hogan along with her other 3 children. The oldest sister went off to College after the staff at her company in Solana Beach 'stole' her company. Colleen went on to Northern California where no one knew her like they did in Solana Beach. Mary was the only member of the Carnahan family that I would call respectable. Mary had to adjust to her new family structure and with her 3rd sister Kelly's bipolar behavior stealing her belongings and refusing to return items and screaming at her and others frequently, I know life wasn't pleasant for Mary. Mary was the only one of the Carnohan's who was actually nice to Alfred Hogans kids. Her older siblings were rude, snotty, prissy and plainly mean. I last saw Mary years ago arguing with Kelly over something Kelly had done or taken. I knew that Mary was living in Solana Beach but I had hope she had married with a family of her own. I couldn't find an obituary for Mary nor much of what happened to her remains or cause of death. She died young and I can't find cause of death, wouldn't surprise me if it were stress related but in any case she is free now...I remember her as very tall, blond, lovely smile and good grades in school. The Mary I remember was pleasant if not happy.
