    Mary immigrated from Ireland, likely originally to New York City. I find no records of her marriage to Patrick, however his will indicates Mary was his second wife. They had settled in Indianapolis, IN with daughter Nellie/Ella by 1870. According to DNA evidence it seems unlikely that Mary was Nellie's biological mother, but perhaps may have been another relative or friend of the bio parent(s).
