Mary Curtis Wallace, 97, of Franklinville, died Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at her residence. Funeral Services, 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 14, 2015, at First Baptist Church of Franklinville, N.C. Officiating. Rev. Steven Cox. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mary was a native of Randolph County, retired from Randolph Mills Flour and Feed Mill Division, and a member of First Baptist Church of Franklinville where she was the chairman of the flower committee. She was preceded in death by husband, Paul Davis Wallace, parents, Rodolph and Ora Bray Curtis, daughter, Lorraine McCain and son-in-law, Bill McCain, grandchildren, Laura Elizabeth McCain, Paul Curtis McCain and several brothers and sisters. Survivors: son, John "Dave" Wallace, and wife, Marian, of Asheboro, N.C., grandson, David McCain, and wife, Audrey, of Kernersville, N.C. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. Caroline Prochnau, Randolph Hospital Home Health, Hospice of Randolph County, and also Sandra Zamora for their care and support. Visitation, 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M., Saturday, First Baptist Church of Franklinville, N.C., and other times at the residence. Arrangements by Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Franklinville Cemetery Fund, 440 Academy St., Franklinville, N.C., 27248.
