She had siblings Agnes Millicent Readman, Clare Readman, and Frances Rita Readman. She married Gerard Joseph Halpin, and had children Joan Pauline Halpin, Clare Halpin, Brian Halpin, Noreen Gerardine Halpin, Leonie Halpin, Pauline Halpin, and Martin Halpin. Mary Readman died at age 93 years old on February 19, 2013 in Maryborough, VIC, and was buried in Bealiba.

Introduction

A wonderful caring woman who thought of others before herself. For the most part she was reared by her grandmother in Melbourne. She was one of twelve children born to Agnes Readman and Joseph Readman. She married Gerard Joseph Halpin and they had seven children. The names of their children are Brian, Clare, Joan, Noreen, Leonie, Pauline and Martin. Two of the children, Joan and Noreen, died due to a drowning accident in 1956. Clare married Ted Palling. They had two children - Sharon and Scott. Leonie married Clem Reidy. They had three children - Louise, Andrew and Jacinta. Brian and Mary Rollinson had three children. Their names are Kieran, Kelly and Jacinta.
