She had siblings James Francis Shemeley and Thomas G Shemeley. Mary Rapacchiano died at age 79 years old on June 11, 2012 at Presbyterian Hospital Philadelphia, Pennsylvania:, and was buried at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill, Camden County, NJ.

Mary (Nancy) was the second child born to Clifford J. Shemeley & Elizabeth V. Reilly on September 16, 1932: She had an older brother James F. Shemeley born August 28, 1930, and a younger brother Thomas G. Shemeley born December 28, 1926. While employed at Campbell Soup Company, Nancy attended Joel Spivak Modeling School in Philadelphia PA. She participated in runway modeling as well as Advertisements for Max Factor Lipstick. The school did provide a portfolio of photos and events to each enrolled student at the school. The school closed in 1970 and the building was torn down in June 1973.

Nancy Shemeley was of Irish and French heritage. She was born in Philadelphia-PA on 9/16/32. Nancy resided in Haddon Township NJ/ Audubon NJ / Pennsauken NJ and Burlington TWP NJ throughout her life. Apparently Nancy (Mary) did travel extensively while single. She visited the Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Miami Florida, Mexico City and Virginia Beach VA: In her later years, Nancy liked to visit Ocean City NJ. Four years before her passing Nancy's daughters took her on a trip to Can Cun Mexico. Nancy enjoyed her children and grandchildren. She loved to eat out in later years. She would jokingly say "the kitchen is closed" - "my cooking days are over".

Nancy was raised in Haddon Township New Jersey. She attended Holy Savior Grammar School. Followed by Camden Catholic High School. Nancy Shemeley worked in the payroll department of Campbell Soup Company (Camden NJ) after graduating high school in the early 1950's. She was employed by Campbell Soup Company for approximately 13 years. Nancy Shemeley left Campbell Soup Company sometime in the early 1960's.

Nancy (Mary) Shemeley married in 1962 and raised 4 children. After almost 28 years of marriage Nancy (Shemeley) Rapacchiano was Divorced. She then was employed by Kennedy Hospital in Cherry Hill NJ for 26 years. Nancy Rapacchiano resided in Pennsauken NJ for 33 years. Her final residence was listed as Burlington County New Jersey from February 28, 2000 until her death in June 2012: Nancy passed away from heart failure at Presbyterian Hospital in Philadelphia PA: She battled heart disease for the last 11 years of her life. Nancy had rheumatic fever at age 4 which is believed to have contributed to he heart ailment later in life. She is buried at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Cherry Hill NJ in a single grave plot.
