Mary (Cusumano) Zottarelle was born on November 14th, 1913 in Saint Louis, Missouri, to Francesco Paolo "Frank Paul" Cusumano (1875 - 1944) and Pietrina (Lafata) Cusumano (1876 - 1974). Both of her parents were born in Sicily. She had five siblings: Annie, Francisco Paulo, Salvatore, Rita, and Philli Cusumano. Mary Cusumano married Anthony J. Zottarelle (1901 - 1969) in February of 1937 and they had one son, Francis "Frank" Paul and one daughter, Kathleen Ann Zottarelle. Mary and Anthony were divorced when Mary died in 1966. Mary died on October 5th, 1966 in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 52. She is buried in Calvary Cemetery & Mausoleum in St. Louis, Missouri, the city in which she was born.
