  • Introduction

    Family, mum buried with her family in Teddington cemetery along with her parents and a possible uncle in the next grave. Apparently after his mum's death he was raised by his grandparents until I believe they died at his age of 14 .Apparently his grandfather was the founder of the freemasonry Lodge in Cape Town and was quite high up in the organisation. Mason was a soldier when I was born but it was just before she died, my mum told me he was in the RAF when they met down in Wales. We moved to Ripon in Yorkshire then down to Colchester where he was demobbed. He went bus driving and went off with his conduct rest. Funny enough I went as a bus driver for 40 years , I made my peace once I married his daughter Julie married an American and moved to Orlando. Dad who always swore to be solid London to the core ,went to visit and never came back. He invited me over but I have never been to Orlando, but I did visit Georgia and it

    Always swore to be Atheist Apparently he put down a good tip when a vicar refused to marry him to my mum so they had the church wedding

    Had a garage business, then went bus driving. He retired off London Transport and worked for a tour company in Florida. They offered me a job because of my experience.
  • Personal Life & Family

    Married to Brenda for many years. All credit. Had a daughter but I had a long time being angry at him until I wrote that letter saying I was old enough to understand it happens. I'm sort of in touch with Julie and her son .Only know he glad a fishing boat in St Peters burgh but I never got to see it .My sister went for a visit but was not impressed by his life .Apparently Julie is now an author of sorts but used to own a company called Just Cruises.
