My friendly neighbor
I lived above Mattie in an apartment in Erlanger KY when I moved there in January 1990 to fly for Comair. She used to bake me frozen pies and I would look in on her and would help her when I could. She cared for some stray cats. She was a nice Lady. I still have a mug she got me for Christmas.I lived there about 3 years and after moving away, I learned she had died when I came to visit her. I was told she was buried in Petersburg and going there and back was how I saw and ended up buying a house on Petersburg Rd. in 1995. I lived there until 2002 when I came back to Michigan. I never could find her grave sadly and believe it to be unmarked. I miss you Mattie. I think about you when I drink from the mug you gave me !
