The chancellor of the Imperial Academy and a friend noticed, before they ground the bones, that they had writing. The bones had been used around the second millennium BC for divination.

In 1909, Maudie was only 10 years old when the New York Times published the first movie review. It was a report on D.W. The movie was the story of a young female factory worker, on her day off, wandering and singing - thus changing the hearts of those around her towards good.
