In Loving Memory of Maurice Robert Jodoin August 8, 1936 – November 26, 2024 With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Maurice R. Jodoin, affectionately known as Moe, on November 26, 2024. Born on August 3, 1936, Maurice was a cherished member of our family and community, known for his generosity and unwavering dedication to those around him. Maurice found and married the love of his life, Daria Homiak, with whom he built a beautiful family. A devoted husband and father, he took pride in raising three children while making a lasting impact as a builder with UT in Houston. His hard work, resilience, and love for his family were the foundation of his life. Whether constructing projects for neighbors, lending a hand in times of need, or rebuilding after storms, Maurice’s kindness knew no bounds. He had a warmth that made everyone feel welcome, a laugh that could lift spirits, and a heart that extended beyond his own family. Maurice is survived by his beloved wife, Daria Jodoin; his children, Kathleen Jodoin, Robert and Janet Jodoin, and Christina van Kuijk. He is reunited in peace with his son, Steve Jodoin, who passed before him. His legacy of love, generosity, and resilience lives on in the lives he touched. Rest in peace, Dad. Your light continues to shine through your children and their children. May you find rest and peace as you journey onward.
