3 Memories, Stories & Photos about Max

Picking cherries on the road
Max would be with us whenever we would go up to Schroon Lake, at Lake George, NY. On the way going up, there used to be lots of cherry trees on the side of the road. When we'd stop, because my father needed to nap a little from the long drive, Max would climb up the trees and shake the branches, so me and my sisters and brother could pick up all the beautiful ripe cherries. It was one of the happiest memories of my life. Max would be so happy too with his beautiful smile and his green eyes sparkling as he celebrated our adventure.

Max was like a big brother for me and my sisters and brother. I think of him often, and about what could have been. Such a handsome good-hearted man. My father, Marcos, loved him like he was his own son. My mother, Sara, whose not one to go easy anyone, was crazy about him, as well. When he left this earth, everyone in my family also died, a little bit. He was my sister's boyfriend. May he rest in peace...until we meet again.
