Maxie D Guinn of Boise, Ada County, ID was born on October 29, 1935 to John Wesley Guinn. Maxie Guinn had siblings Jerry Leon Guinn, Pat Steven Guinn, and Melba J Husak. He married Sandra Tracy. He would also marry Sheri Guinn Slabaugh, and they had a child Rebecca D. Davis. He also married Hattie Howard, and they had children Wesley A. (Guinn) Johnson and Kevin E (Guinn) Johnson. He married Donna Westman, and they had a child Peggy A. Aiken. Maxie Guinn died at age 60 years old on November 11, 1995, and was buried in 1995 at Dry Creek Cemetery in Boise/Garden City.

    Max was the son of John "Wesley" and Lois (Phillips) Guinn. He was born in Clarksville, Arkansas on Oct. 29,1935. He lived in Arkansas as a child. Later he lived in Rock Springs,Wyoming and Rawlins,Wyoming. He eventually settled down in the Boise/Meridian, Idaho area. He had two sons: Wes and Kevin,and two daughters: Peggy Ann and Rebecca "Becky". He mostly worked as a truck driver. He worked for Larry Barnes Chevrolet and later he drove the city bus for Boise Urban Stages in Boise, Idaho. He was survived by his mother: Lois Patterson, a sister: Melba (Guinn) Husak,two brothers:Jerry Leon Guinn and Pat "Steve" Guinn and a half-sister: Mary Lou(McKnight) Reinhardt. He lived with his dear friends, John and Carol Chipman,at the time of his death. He suffered from emphysema,the last eight years of his life and died from congestive heart failure.

The law established the Social Security Administration whose primary focus was to "provide aid for the elderly, the unemployed, and children".
