I loved my father but he was a difficult man to love and understand. I wish I had been more forgiving of his sterness and ideas. I know he truly loved me and I am so sorry he died before things could be resolved. He would be so proud of his granddaughters. I would give anything to have five minutes with him, but he has gone to a better place. I hope with all my heart that he is watching from heaven and knows how much I loved him. I hope he has watched his granddaughters grow up and can see what beautiful people that are.
