Her Son: Hello, My name is Michael Gandolfo I am Melanie's only son she has one other child her name is Liliana. My mother was born March 30, 1982 and she died august 23, 2009 I was 8 my sister 1. The night she died is like a broken record I remember it every day of my life. It was the day before school, 3rd grade and she went to bed my dad Richard Moulder was up with me watching tv when he said "its bed time" I was on my way to bed when my dad opened the door to their room where she lied on the floor. we ran over to her. my dad told me to run next door and tell the neighbors to call 911. I did and the neighbors who had a son my age took us into the house while the ambulance arrived my sister who was only a baby was screaming her head off. I was on the stairs holding my head and sobbing fearing the worst. after 3 hours I looked out the door which was cracked open I saw the arm of a woman it looked like my mother so I jumped up in excitement and said "yes!". I was wondering why it was taking so long for me to go home after an hour my dad came over and took me over to our house I walked in to see my uncle in tears I looked around I did not see my mom anywhere. my dad steped on one knee and said to me "Michael....... your mom ........ is gone" she had died of a fatty liver.
