    His 1st language was Ukrainian. He was the oldest child of Catheryne. He worked in CCC program and was on a destroyer escort in the Pacific in WWII. He was married briefly during the war and his infant son Michael died from pneumonia prior to the use of antibiotics. He met his 2nd wife while in Port at Seattle. They married and moved to Medford Oregon. He raised a step daughter, adopted a son and had a daughter in 1963 with his wife Corrine.
