Graveside services for Michael Lynn Fountain, 40, of Bryan-College Station will be held Friday, July 31, 2009 at 12 noon in the Spring Ridge Cemetery in San Augustine County with Brother Jerry Fountain officiating. Mr. Fountain was born June 15, 1969 in Brenham, Texas to Jo Della (Winn) and Ronald Lynn Fountain, and died Sunday, July 26, 2009 in a Houston hospital. A former resident of Lufkin, Mr. Fountain had resided in Bryan-College Station for three years, where he attended Texas A&M University. Mr. Fountain enjoyed spending time with his children. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife, Lynette Fountain of Bryan-College Station; daughter, Charlene Fountain of Bryan-College Station; sons, Christian Fountain, Aidan Fountain, both of Bryan-College Station, and Jace Fountain of Lufkin; mother, Jo Della Winn of Wells; dad, Justin Modisette and wife Debra of Huntington; grandparents, Betty and Royce Modisette of Lufkin; brothers, James Fountain of Burleson, Tommy Fountain of Carthage and Ronnie Fountain of Lufkin; sisters, Amanda Davis of Azle, Jodie Hicks of Wells and Joy Fountain of Lufkin; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Lynn Fountain. Pallbearers will be Josh Davis, Joel Nobles, Tommy Fountain, Ronnie Fountain, Darren Fountain, Gary Fountain, James Fountain and Terry Fountain. The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Friday morning at the funeral home. Carroway-Claybar Funeral Home, Lufkin, directors.ADVERTISEMENT BYLooking for more information?
