He had siblings James Timothy Schooling, Joseph Schooling, and Mary Patricia (Schooling) Nelson. He married Charlene (Macke) Schooling on September 16, 1972, and had children Susan Lynne Schooling and Martha Elizabeth Schooling. Michael Schooling died at age 72 years old on April 24, 2016 in Tulsa, Tulsa County.

    Michael Lynn Schooling, 72-year-old resident of San Antonio, TX died Sunday, April 24, 2016 in Tulsa, OK. He was born December 16, 1943 to James L. Schooling and Martha Lou (Leahy) of Pawhuska, Oklahoma. Michael graduated from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK with a Bachelor's degree in Physical Science where he was a principle member of Phi Sigma Fraternity. While teaching at Oklahoma Military Academy, Michael received his Masters of Science in Biology from Oklahoma State University in Norman, OK. Michael maintained a successful career in Oncology and Nuclear Medicine Sales: Cancer Treatment/Radiation Therapy Systems. For many years, he held the position of Territory Manager for Oldelft and Philips Medical traveling cross-country and internationally. He was united in marriage to Mrs. Charlene (Macke) Schooling of San Antonio, TX. He is survived by his two daughters, Ms. Susan Schooling of San Antonio, TX and Ms. Martha (Betsy) Schooling of Tulsa, OK, and beloved grandson, Benjamin "Bennie" Charles Schooling-Robins of Tulsa, OK.
