Mr. Henderson was my English writing professor at the University of Pittsburgh. He was a fine teacher who respected his students writings and encouraged us to keep writing, was kind in his criticisms and had a genuine love for writing. Through his example and guidance, he helped me develop a true understanding, respect and love for writing. I wish that I had kept in touch with him. He would have been a true friend. I will cherish the memories that I have of him.
