He was married to Genevieve (Domanski) Seroski in 1943 in Shamokin, Northumberland County United States, and they were together until Michael's death in August 1966. Michael Seroskie had children Anna Marie (Seroski) Reeder, Elizabeth Alice (Seroski) Padgett, Michael Seroski, and Raymond Seroski.

    Michael Seroskie passed away in August 1966 at 63 years old. He was born on May 15, 1903. He was married to Genevieve Domanski Seroski. He was survived by his wife Genevieve and four children - Anna Marie, Raymond, Elizabeth and Michael. He was an anthracite coal mine his whole adult life. He started working in the mines at age 12 as a "breaker boy". He died from Black Lung Disease.

In 1903, in the year that Michael Seroskie was born, two brothers, Orville and Wilbur Wright, flew the first powered heavier-than-air plane. They flew 4 times in one day - the longest flight lasting 59 seconds and a little over 852 feet. While the brothers had notified several newspapers of their attempt, only one - a local paper - covered it. After their 4th flight, a gust of wind caught the plane, turned it over, and totaled it.

In 1935, when he was 32 years old, the BOI's name (the Bureau of Investigation) was changed to the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) and it officially became a separate agency with the Department of Justice. J. Edgar Hoover, the Chief of the BOI, continued in his office and became the first Director of the FBI. The FBI's responsibility is to "detect and prosecute crimes against the United States".
